September 7 - Arrive in Dublin. This is a day to explore on your own. We will provide a 24-hour pass for the Dublin Hop-On-Hop-Off double-decker bus. There is no better way after a long international flight to familiarize yourself with the city. Grafton Street is a must!!

September 8 - After a restful night at the Ashling Hotel, enjoy a complimentary breakfast before climbing aboard our comfortable van for a day of site-seeing. Our stops today include The Book of Kells at Trinity College; Christ Church Cathedral; and the Guinness Storehouse. Admission to these venues are included...and don't skip the complimentary pint of Guinness! Tonight we stop in Blessington at the Tulfarris Hotel. Blessington is located at the gateway to Wicklow Mountains National Park...an outdoor paradise of woods, mountains, rivers and lakes.


September 9 - Today is going to be packed!! After breakfast we'll hop in the van and venture into the Wicklow Mountains area. Powerscourt House and Gardens will be a stop you'll love (it's only 17-minutes from Kevin's house on the coast). We'll also see Glendalough and the Powerscourt Waterfall before heading back into Dublin for dinner and show at The Merry Ploughboys Pub. After a raucous night of Irish song and dance...you'll be ready to rest your head back at the Tulfarris Hotel to rest up for day four!!

September 10 - Another day of keeping the tourist juices flowing!! We are going to Cork city (Ireland's second largest city) today but along the way we are going to stop at Kilkenny Castle and The Rock of Cashel. Depending on time (and interest) other sites along the way and at our destination include the small heritage town of Cahir, St. Canices Cathedral & Round TowerCork City Gaol (jail)The Shandon Bells of St. Anne's Church; and The English Market. You're going to love our hotel tonight...Fitzgerald's Vienna Woods. Rest up...the next two days are going to be mind-blowing!

September 11 & 12 - Get your cameras ready because for the next two days we are going to be hanging out in County Cork and County Kerry, two of the most spectacular and picturesque locations in the world. Our home base will be the International Hotel in the town of Killarney. Killarney lies on the edge of the astoundingly beautiful Killarney National Park. I'm sure you've heard of the Ring of Kerry and in and around this area the list of things to see and do is staggering!! Here's just a few...Torc Waterfall; Ladies View; Kenmare Stone Circle; the charming town of Kenmare; Beara Peninsula; Muckross House and Gardens; step back in time and enjoy a meandering horse and carriage jaunting car ride to Ross Castle; and maybe end the day at the Killarney Brewing Company

September 13 - Ready to hit the road again? There's still more to see!! The Cliffs of Moher stand at 700 feet tall and range for over 5-miles on the Atlantic coast. On a clear day it's like you can almost see into forever!! We'll also journey to Adare Heritage Village. Adare is is a quaint place lined with traditional thatched-roofed cottages. Adare is widely regarded as being Ireland's prettiest and most unique village. Tonight we lodge in the town of Ennis at the Old Ground Hotel.

September 14 - Can you believe it's almost over!!?? Today we head back to Dublin but we have a few things to see along the way...like the oldest whiskey distillery in the world...Kilbeggan Distillery. Your experience will include not only a guided tour but a Masterclass in tasting three Irish whiskey's distilled on site. Then we'll pick up the light-weights, stumble back to the van and continue our trip down the road. Next stop...Birr Castle. Tonight includes a farewell dinner at The Pig's Ear restaurant in Dublin. With a name like that, you know it has to be good!! The pillow for your last night in Ireland is located at the Davenport Hotel.

September 15 - All good things must end. We'll have one last journey with our chauffeur/guide as he drops us off at the Dublin Airport for the journey home...slán agus beannacht leat (Goodbye and may blessings be with you).
 

NOTE: Daily itinerary will remain somewhat fluid and will be refined by Kevin and your driver so that "high value" sites take priority to take advantage of time available and weather conditions. Below is a list of the areas we'll be visiting and a few of the sights available in each.
